Patricia Topp M.S. Ed. Retired from a thirty-two year teaching career to begin two other careers, counseling and writing. Her varied interests in conservation, science, the behavioral sciences, and psychology have made for a variety in her books. Her book Stepping Off Life’s Sad Merry-Go-Round: METAPHORICALLY SPEAKING was written for hypnotherapists. Blue Dolphin Publishing, Inc. has published two of her children’s books This Strange Quantum World and You and Call Him Father Nature: The Story of John Muir.

Her latest book, A Promise is to Keep, concerns a young girl's adventures in learning responsibility.
